Description

A full contact, flexible wound dressing that provides an optimal environment for wound healing and reduces scarring.

Stratamed is a semi-occlusive, self-drying, and transparent gel.

When used as directed, Stratamed dries to form a protective, breathable, and water-resistant layer that moisturizes and protects damaged skin areas and open wounds from chemical and microbial exposure.

Stratamed can be used on cuts and excisions, open wounds, and damaged skin surfaces - after laser procedures, chemical peels, dermabrasion, first and second-degree burns, and radiation therapy.

For open wounds and damaged skin:

Stratamed gel is bacteriostatic and inert.

Stratamed dries to form a thin, flexible wound dressing that moisturizes and protects the affected area. Stratamed helps create an optimal environment for the healing of superficial wounds and burns.

This environment promotes faster tissue regeneration, reduces inflammation, and shortens the recovery period after the procedure.

Stratamed adheres loosely to the wound bed and newly formed granulation tissue.

Stratamed is a self-drying, non-sticky, transparent gel that easily adheres to the damaged skin layer.

For scar prevention and treatment:

Stratamed softens and flattens raised scars, allowing the normalization of collagen synthesis in scars and the formation of normal scars.

Stratamed can be used with or without a secondary protective dressing.

Stratamed is ideal for exposed areas such as the face and neck, as well as joints and hairy areas that do not require shaving.

Stratamed is used to suppress itching and discomfort, and to reduce redness and discoloration in affected skin and scar areas.

Stratamed is designed for use on all types of superficial wounds, burns, skin tears, and abrasions, including those resulting from:

• General and aesthetic surgeries

• Traumas

• Burns

• Radiation therapy

• Bites

• Scratches

• Laser therapy, tattoo removal

• Chemical peels

• Dermabrasion

• Cryotherapy

• Acne-damaged skin and other skin conditions

Stratamed purpose:

• For the protection and moisturization of superficial wounds, burns, and damaged skin.

• For the prevention and treatment of keloid, hypertrophic, and large scars.

Stratamed can also be used in conjunction with invasive scar treatment methods to improve overall results, such as surgical excisions and sutures, steroid injections into affected areas, and compression garments.

Stratamed is suitable for children and people with sensitive skin.

Stratamed can be used in infants, during pregnancy, and while breastfeeding.

Stratamed is intended for single patient use only.

Ingredients

Ingredients: Polysiloxanes, silicone resin.

Usage

For first-time use of 10g: remove the cap, snip the tip of the tube, and recap after use.

Ensure the affected skin or wound is clean.

Before applying the gel, gently dry any excess exudate or wound fluid from the affected surface as much as possible.

For best results, maintain constant contact of Stratamed with the skin (24 hours a day / 7 days a week).

If Stratamed has been washed off, it can be reapplied.

When applied correctly, Stratamed should dry within 5-6 minutes. If it takes longer to dry, too much may have been applied. Gently wipe off any excess with a clean cloth and allow it to dry.

On broken or abraded skin that does not require a secondary dressing:

Apply a very thin layer of Stratamed to the affected area and allow it to dry. Stratamed should be applied once or twice daily to exposed areas, or as directed by your physician.

Once dry, Stratamed can be covered with sunscreen, cosmetics, pressure garments, or splints.

On broken or abraded skin that requires a secondary dressing:

Apply a very thin layer of Stratamed and cover with a secondary dressing.

It is not necessary to wait for it to dry.

When changing dressings or checking wound healing, Stratamed should be reapplied or as directed by your physician.

Recommended duration of use:

Stratamed is recommended for use immediately after the procedure and until the skin has completely regenerated.

After superficial removal and ablative procedures, it is recommended for a minimum of 30 days (24 hours a day / 7 days a week) or until no longer needed.

For scar prevention, Stratamed is recommended for a minimum of 60-90 days (24 hours a day / 7 days a week). Larger scars may require a longer duration.

Continued use is recommended until clearly no longer needed.

How much Stratamed is needed?

Stratamed is a unique formulation gel that requires significantly less product compared to other conventional moisturizing creams or barrier ointments.

10g of Stratamed is sufficient for treating 5-8cm long wounds twice a day for more than 90 days.
