Description

Strataderm is a fast-drying, non-tacky, transparent silicone gel for the treatment of new and old scars.

Strataderm can be easily applied to all skin areas, both exposed areas (such as the face, neck), joints and hairy areas, without the need for shaving.
When used as directed, Strataderm dries to form a protective, breathable, and waterproof silicone layer that moisturizes and protects scars from chemicals and microbes, normalizes collagen synthesis in scars, and promotes normal scar formation.
Strataderm softens and flattens raised scars, relieves itching and discomfort, and reduces redness and discoloration in scar areas.

Strataderm is designed for use on all types of scars, including those resulting from:
• General and aesthetic surgeries
• Trauma
• Chronic wounds
• Burns
• Bites
• Acne
• And other skin conditions.
Updated international clinical scar care guidelines have confirmed that silicone gel should be used for primary therapy and the prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scars during initial scar treatment.
Ingredients

Composition:Polydimethylsiloxanes, Siloxanes, Alkylmethyl Siloxanes.
Usage

When using the 20g package for the first time, remove the cap, cut the tip of the tube, and recap after use. Ensure that the affected skin or wound is clean. Apply a very thin layer of Strataderm to the scar and allow it to dry.

Strataderm should be applied once a day or twice a day on exposed areas, or as directed by your doctor.

For best results, maintain continuous contact of Strataderm with the skin (24 hours a day / 7 days a week).

When applied correctly, Strataderm should dry within 3-4 minutes. If it takes longer to dry, too much may have been applied. Gently wipe off any excess with a clean cloth and allow it to dry.

Once dry, Strataderm can be covered with sunscreen, cosmetics, compression garments or splints.

Recommended duration of treatment:

Strataderm is recommended for a minimum of 60-90 days (24 hours a day / 7 days a week). Treatment of larger and older scars may take longer. Continued use is recommended until clearly no longer needed.

How much Strataderm do I need?

A 20g tube of Strataderm is sufficient for treating scars 10-14cm long for over 90 days.

Warnings:

For external use only. Strataderm should not be used on third-degree burns or open wounds. Avoid contact of Strataderm with mucous membranes or eyes. Strataderm should not be used with other skin treatments without consulting a doctor. Strataderm may stain clothing until completely dry. If stained, clothing can be dry cleaned without damaging the fabric. For proper product storage, screw the cap on tightly. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date (EXP) indicated on the package.
