The two marine Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are important for a child's healthy development. That's why "Omega-3 Kids" contains an optimal proportion of cod liver oil (rich in DHA) and fish oil (rich in EPA). The fish oil in "Omega-3 Kids" is sourced from sustainable fishing (wild-caught) and produced in Norway. This natural fish oil contains over 50 fatty acids, just like in fish itself. So, when you consume NORSAN fish oil, you get all the fatty acids, just as you would from consuming the fish itself.
Cod liver oil is derived from cod caught in the Arctic Ocean, near the Norwegian coast. We place great importance on the freshness of cod liver oil and fish oil: the process from catch to processing usually takes only 2-4 hours. That's why our oils have such a pleasant taste.
