Description

NeilMed SINUS RINSE – is a high-volume, easy-squeeze nasal rinsing system designed for effective and gentle cleaning of the nasal passages. The saline solution is sprayed with controlled positive pressure, which helps remove mucus, allergens, dust, and other impurities, while also moisturizing the nasal lining.

Recommended for use:

  • For nasal allergies, dryness, and hay fever.
  • For sinus pressure or nasal congestion.
  • For nasal symptoms due to colds or flu.
  • When the nasal lining is irritated by occupational or household dust, fumes, animal dander, grass, pollen, smoke, and other irritants.
  • For post-nasal drip and chronic nasal congestion.

Use only NeilMed SINUS RINSE packets, which contain a USP grade mixture of sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate. Rinsing with plain water alone can cause a burning sensation because water is not adapted to the nasal lining.

IMPORTANT!

  • Use only boiled, distilled, or commercially bottled water for preparing the solution.
  • For hygiene and safety, it is recommended to replace the bottle every 3 months.

Usage

Usage:

  • Dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in 180-240 ml of boiled or distilled water.
  • Shake the bottle until the contents of the sachet are completely dissolved in the water.
  • Tilt your head slightly forward and lean over the sink, holding the bottle upright.
  • Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and breathe through your mouth.
  • Gently squeeze the base of the bottle. Allow the solution to flow in through one nostril and out through the other. Breathe through your mouth during the rinse.
  • After the procedure, stand for a moment with your head tilted forward.
  • Repeat the rinse through the other nostril.
  • Gently blow your nose.
  • For hygiene, wash the bottle again.
  • We recommend replacing the bottle every 3 months.

WARNINGS!

  • It is very important that the devices used (bottle system) are clean and not contaminated.
  • Do not rinse if your nasal passages are completely blocked or if you have an ear infection or blocked ears. If you have recently had ear or sinus surgery, consult your doctor before rinsing.
  • If you experience pressure in your ears or a burning sensation in your nasal passages, stop rinsing and consult your doctor for further instructions.
  • It is not recommended to use this kit for children or adults with physical or mental disabilities due to developmental or acquired disorders.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
